Author Geoffrey Ernest Stedman is a retired emeritus professor of physics at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. He believes he owes his life to modern science. Stedman is also an evangelical Christian, who takes the text of the Bible as definitive for faith. He wrote this book out of concern for the way creationism has debunked Christianity in the eyes of many. He hopes this text will remove unnecessary obstacles for the acceptance of the Christian faith and the results of scientific study.
